I have a backstory

I have been living in Seoul for the past 5 years.

Previously, I had been living here before moving away. I chronicled my first year quite extensively, but stopped.

During the intervening years I have had the chance to experience a number of things and have come to new perspectives on both myself and Korea.

I think you might be on to something. This could be fun. I’m leaving for Seoul in ten days. See you there.

  2. Tequila (ex-Soju),

My name is Roger Wellor (I found you on the Korean Blogger site) and I’m doing a study of the successes and failures of Korean International Tourism Marketing. I have a brief survey online that I invite you to take. It is designed to be answered by Korean/US bloggers and to give a slight outline of how these cross-cultural thinkers evaluate Korea’s International Marketing.

Sorry to do this in comments, but I didn’t see an email link…

Your email will not be used for anything other than this survey (in fact it is not a required field in the survey) and if you have any questions, I can be contacted here at rwellor@spunangel.com.

    Here is the link:

    thank you,

Hey there, first of all you have to excuse me because I’m not used to write in English so I’m pretty rusty as you can imagine.

I’ve never read a blog before and I’m very amused with yours. Keep on going you’re making an excellent job trying to get us, I’m a very proud MEXICAN so, I know how difficult this could sometimes be.

Keep practicing your banda dancing moves, don’t worry you’ll figure it out… I did it (before I looked like those cockroaches you mentioned)… so I know you can.

    See ya,
    KCD

    P….
I just spent the better part of 2 hours this morning absorbed in your blog. I stumbled upon it from facebook as I was working on assembling a fantasy baseball leauge for this season, and you sucked me in and kept me breathing hard the whole time! This stuff is great man, keep livin the dream, and stealing jobs, and do the jobs for MUCH MORE than their workforce would be willing to do them….that will show them!

ps, wanna manage a fantasy baseball team? $30 (US) to play. $20 goes toward payouts for 1-3 place and $10 goes toward buying a BADASS trophy to pass around on a yearly basis. let me know
